Antique Pine Scratch Built Carpenters Cabinet With Internal Drawers, Lockable

This is a useful antique carpenters tool cabinet which dates to the late Victorian era. It has been hand made or ‘scratch built’ from solid pine and is solid, sturdy and fairly heavy, perfect for use in a workshop or as a rustic table top kitchen cabinet. The cabinet has two deep doors to the front which open to reveal an arrangement of nine small drawers. The doors are lockable and have some wooden fittings for tools.
The drawers have small metal ring handles which are a later addition.

It is an unusual piece for a desk top, perfect for stowing away small items and collectables, perhaps for use in a workshop for screws, nails and bits and bobs.

The cabinet measures
65cms high x 56cms wide x 21cms deep
widest drawer measures 51.5cms wide x 8cms high x 11.5cms deep

It is very rustic and there are many marks of age and use with various knocks and dents and old inactive wood worm holes. The top has a small cut out section at either both corners.
