Description
A set of four Italian design icons in black saddle leather.
Â
When first produced in 1977, the CAB was the first chair to feature a free-standing leather structure, inspired by how human skin fits over our skeleton. The leather upholstery is constructed from sixteen pieces of saddle leather, which are individually die-cut and sewn together. The leather is then zippered over the tubular steel frame and the polyurethane foam padded seat. The chair is part of the permanent collection at the New York MoMA. It is perfect for the dining room, office, or as a side chair.
Overall it’s a design with elegance and understatement, very comfortable to sit in, while still lightweight. These chairs will last a lifetime.
Â
The CAB 412 dining room chairs by Mario Bellini for Cassina are sleek and elegant, featuring a minimalist design with a strong focus on comfort. Upholstered in luxurious black leather, these chairs make a statement while blending seamlessly into any modern interior.

In good vintage condition with some slight signs of wear, we offer a conservative restoration service included on the price.
