Description
An elegant, classically stylish, armchair by iconic British furniture makers Parker Knoll. This is a rare model, dating from the early 1930’s (the beginning of their partnership). The base of the back rest is stamped with their first patent number and makers mark.
The simplicity and curvaceous shape of the rolling armrests, whilst being typical of the art deco era also lend the chair a contemporary feel. The striking, sculptural form of the side profile and the new, neutral coloured, boucle upholstery, enable this chair to work well within a wide range of interior styles. The perfect accent chair for classic, vintage, Scandi and contemporary interiors.
The chair has been reupholstered with new foam padding to the seat and a flame retardant boucle fabric. The bentwood armrests have been cleaned, polished and waxed, keeping the aged patina and celebrating the character of the chair.
