– Designed by the French designer Janine Abraham and her Dutch collaborator Dirk Jan Rol in the 1950s.
– Structurally sound construction in steel and plastic covered fibre, with a bamboo frame to the seat shell.
– Attractive colour combination highlighting the blue.
– Elegant basket seat shell is held by the black steel leg frame, which has a wing nut clamp at the back to hold it.
– Comfortable seat.
This chair will look great in any conservatory, garden room or outdoor area and will complement a mid-century (MCM) design theme.
In good condition, this has a small graze to a single plastic decorative loop on the outside which reveals the wood fibre beneath. The piece is stable and only has the wear expected from light use over time.
