Pair of “Kolding” armchairs designed by Erik Wørts for IKEA, produced in the Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli (GFM) Poland, 1960’s
The GFM factory was one of the best furniture factories of the Polish People’s Republic.
Factory carried out orders for Western European companies, e.g. IKEA, the firm specialized in beech wood furniture, and was known for its high quality furniture.
The armchairs are made of solid oak wood, this model is characterized by massive armrests, cigar-shaped legs.
Cushions upholstered in blue-gray boucle fabric.
