Victorian Oil Lamp with Original Cranberry Glass

A fabulous quality 19th century oil lamp with original cranberry glass shade and burner on a heavy brass Corinthian column base.

– Heavy faceted cranberry glass oil reservoir.
– Twin oil adjusters are marked “Messengers Patent Duplex No. 2”,
– Original shade and burner.
– Shade is etched with flower and foliate motifs.
– Beautifully ornate brass Corinithan column on heavy base.

This is a wonderful decorative item for a period Victorian interior, but can still be functional with careful use, either for a lovely evening atmosphere or, with advance planning, it will make a good power failure backup option.

In lovely condition without cracks or damage to the glass.
