Large mid-century modern palmette chandelier in Murano glass, Barovier and Toso style, 1970s Italy. The chandelier is composed of a gold and brass painted metal structure, green and transparent Murano glass palmettes. The large Italian chandelier has 4 layers of glass and a final sphere at the bottom. It has sixteen lights and has been professionally rewired, with E14 or E12 sockets for the United States. The color of the glass becomes more intense when lit: beautiful. The Murano chandelier is equipped with a chain and rosette but can also be hung recessed. The height without chain is: 27.50 inches (glass only) or 70 cm. The total drop with the chain is: approximately 59 inches or 150 cm. The large Italian Murano glass chandelier is in excellent condition.
