Stunning pair of low tables belonging to the prestigious “Marango” series designed by Alberto Smania for the Smania Studio Interni company of the same name in the late 1960s.

The small tables encapsulate and embody the high Italian craftsmanship and artisanship of the period with resounding detailing on the corners in leather weave, with brass profiles and Italian cane.

They feature 2 shelves made of pure silk depicting a wisteria design.

The condition is very good, although they are now almost 60 years old.
