Description
A fabulous Louis XVI style gilt wood centre table with a marble top, this late 19th century piece will look lovely in a hall or reception area, perhaps used to display an art piece, a lamp or flowers.
– Removable marble top, fixed in place with upright dowels.
– Cream coloured marble with green and yellow veining.
– Ornate cross centre gilt wood frame with an ornate carved central finial.
– Carved decoration throughout, with flowers.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are some very minor nibbles around the marble edge and some natural opening of the veining which extends to one of the short sides, but none of that is obtrusive. The carving is in good condition.
