A beautiful piece of furniture which is also very practical, this French tilt top guéridon table has a gorgeous matched burr walnut veneer top and dates to the mid-19th century. It is a space saving piece which can be stored to show the top to maximum advantage when not in use.
– Lovely veneer matched in 10 sections fanning out from a central circular piece.
– Tilt top with easy to use brass latch mechanism.
– Wonderfully shaped hexagonal central baluster on tripod base.
– Brass castors.
– Label on top of base shows a Paris address in Avenue Ledru-Rollin.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
