A beautifully crafted small oak gateleg table dating from the early Georgian period, featuring drop leaves and resting on turned, stretchered supports. This elegant piece exudes character and history, with an exquisite patina that only comes from centuries of gentle use.
There are light, superficial marks in keeping with its age, but nothing that detracts from its charm or functionality. One leg shows signs of historic woodworm, which has been professionally treated and is no longer active.
Complete with a single drawer, this table offers both style and practicality. At around 200 years old, its condition is remarkable—solid, stable, and ready to serve for generations to come. Its timeless design allows it to blend seamlessly into a wide range of interiors, from traditional to contemporary.
