This charming early Georgian walnut drop-leaf table is a fine example of 18th-century craftsmanship. Resting on gracefully tapered supports that terminate in classic stopper feet, it combines both elegance and practicality. One foot has a small piece of wood missing, though this does not affect the table’s stability—it’s solid, sturdy, and ready for everyday use.
The table has developed a rich patina over time, highlighting the beauty of its walnut grain and lending it the warmth and character that only age and use can bring.
A small sliver of wood is missing from the edge of one of the central leaves, a common and minor detail in antique tables of this kind.Ideal as a space-saving solution, this versatile table can serve as a dining table for up to four or function beautifully as a side or occasional table.
