Stunning and rare chest of drawers belonging to the prestigious “Marango” series designed by Alberto Smania for the Smania Studio Interni company of the same name in the late 1960s’.
The chest of drawers encompasses and embodies the high Italian craftsmanship and artisanship of the period with resounding details on the corners in leather weave, fully upholstered in dark walnut burl, with brass profiles and Italian cane.

A truly breathtaking piece that is also finished on the back, making it placeable even in the center of a room.
Features 4 drawers and 2 deep drawers with brass handles.
The condition is excellent, with tiny signs of time as shown in the photographs, although it is now almost 60 years old.
