Rare sideboard belonging to the “Fiorenza” series designed by Tito Agnoli for Molteni in the late 1960s’, one of the most renowned brands for high-quality design in the Italian furniture industry.

Tito Agnoli (1931-2012) was an Italian designer and architect, known for his functional and essential approach to design. Born in Lima, Peru, to an Italian family, he moved to Italy to study painting before graduating in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in the early 1950s. During his education he collaborated with design masters such as Gio Ponti and Carlo De Carli, experiences that profoundly influenced his style.
Agnoli distinguished himself for his ability to combine elegance and practicality, designing furniture with clean, sober lines and a focus on functionality and industrial production. He worked for some of the most prestigious companies in the industry, including Molteni, Poltrona Frau, Arflex and Oluce, creating furniture and lamps that are still appreciated for their essentiality and refinement.
His work has been repeatedly recognized with prizes and awards, including several mentions at the Compasso d’Oro.
His minimalist and rational approach left its mark on postwar Italian design, making his creations still sought after by collectors and vintage furniture enthusiasts.
