Description
A stunning early 19th century Glamorganshire, Welsh oak dresser. This attractive dresser base of shallow depth has an attractive patina and superb brassware which adds to its desirability.
– Fret pierced carved frieze
– Three drawers with attractive brass furniture
– Raised panelled pot board
– Attractive and well turned front legs
– Shallow depth
This is a superb piece for a country home providing storage within the drawers and on the pot board, for large pans or decorative kitchenware. It would make a good console table, serving table or side table for a living room, entrance or reception area.
In good age related condition, this has the marks and wear expected for an early 19th century piece. The drawer bases have been historically replaced and there are a few old woodworm holes on one rear drawer corner.
