Description
A beautiful traditional French commode in figured ash with a marble top, this Louis Philippe chest of drawers dates to circa 1850. It will look wonderful in any reception room providing both practical storage and a lovely display surface for an art piece or floral arrangements.
– Removable grey marble top with white veining and a grooved edge.
– 5 drawers, including a hidden one at the bottom.
– Bracket feet.
– Matched figured veneer drawer fronts in 6 panels.
– Lovely honey colour.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is a minor small chip on the right edge of the marble which is unobtrusive and the usual tiny nibbles along the back edge. The key is available and the locks are functional.
