This eye catching piece of furniture dates to the early 19th century. The chest travels in two pieces, a design that was specifically developed for campaign furniture providing this style with a greater ease of transport around the globe. – The top half with two short drawers over one long, fitting into the bottom section with dowels.
– The lower section with two long drawers.
– Brass fittings throughout, to the bound corners, inset in the drawer handles.
– Brass brackets are on all the important points.
