17th Century Oak Spice Cabinet

A splendid example of a late 17th century oak spice cabinet, this is a piece of English history and continues to be a useful storage option for smaller items 350 years after it was first made.

– Oak with walnut veneered drawers.
– Geometric panel to the door with fruitwood and burr walnut features.
– Working lock with key, probably a 19th century addition.
– 6 smaller drawers over one longer.
– Holes in the back make it possible to wall hang without further modification.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use over a period of 350 years. There have been some historic repairs to the drawer linings.
