A beautiful pair of silver candlesticks dating to 1793. They are by John Parsons, arguably the greatest maker of English candlesticks, who was active in the late 18th and early 19th century, dying in 1814.
– Hallmarked for Sheffield, 1793.
– Tulip styling, with wonderful decoration.
– Removable sconces.
– Weighted bases, with green felt beneath.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
