Description
A large piece of Derby with a colourful floral bordered rim above a plain white body, which gives the tankard a striking look. The decoration is possibly done by William Billingsley of Mansfield, previously an apprentice at Derby. The puce factory mark can be found to the base. Circa 1782-1800.
