Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a French painter, printmaker, and illustrator who recorded details of the bohemian lifestyle of Paris during the late 19th century. ‘Moulin Rouge: La Goulue’ is a poster by Toulouse-Lautrec depicting the famous cancan dancer La Goulue and her flexible partner Valentin le désossé using just a few lines eptiomizing his simplistic style. The poster was first printed in 1891 to advertise the new dance hall, Moulin Rouge.
Comes in mid coloured wooden frame.
In nice vintage condition with few marks of original patina to create the perfect aged style of the piece.
