Pair of George III Silver Salts by Hester Bateman. A fine pair of silver salts from the famous Bateman family of silversmiths. Unusual in style with a raised double rim and large padded feet attached to the four sides of each bowl. Hallmarked for London 1789. There is a small indentation to each salt otherwise the pieces are in good condition with only age related signs of wear. 1789, Silver, British.
