George III Silver & Mahogany Wine Coaster. An exceptional piece of Georgian silver in the form of a wine coaster. Expertly made with a ribbed rim and substantial gadrooned body finished with a mahogany base. Central to the base is an engraved crest of a sun and a mans face. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1793 and by John & Thomas Settle. The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear.
