An unusual antique English solid silver & bakelite small Tray / Stand C.1929

 

An unusual antique small Tray / Stand having a solid silver fleur-de-lis pierced gallery mounted on an unknown material base (possibly a covering on wood?) and what appears blue bakelite underneath. Having full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1929 and makers marks for William Base & Sons. A very unusual item.

 

Circa 1929

 

Good vintage condition

6 7/8th inches (17.8cm) width X 3 7/8th inches (9.7cm) depth X 7/8th inch (2.5cm) height approx
