19th Century Library Telescope. A wonderful brass telescope by Newton & Company Opticians of 3 Fleet Street, Temple Bar, London. This piece is of a fashionable size, perfect for any study or library setting. The scope is a three drawer with sliding eyepiece and sun shade and fixes to a substantial brass tripod with clamp action. Leather grips complete the piece. All measurements relate to the telescope when it is fully extended and on the tripod. The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear.
