Pair of Large Qing Style Chinese Vases

An impressive pair of oriental vases in the Qing style, these will look good on a large piece of furniture and are in good condition.

– Beautiful famille rose colours, with gilt decoration, pinks, greens and blues.
– Raised feel to parts of the enamel glazed decoration, which includes butterflies, flowers and scenes of men and women on panels either side of each vase, each scene the same.
– There are small holes in the necks of the stylised animals at the sides, suggesting that something had been threaded through at some time as handles which is not now present.
– Oriental script on the bottom of each vase.

Decorative pieces of a good size which will look wonderful on an impressive display surface.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
