An absolutely stunning purple blue sommerso twisted art glass vase by Murano from the 1960’s
Mid-century Murano glass at its very best this elegant and tall vase has a ribbed design with a ribbed twisted foot and a flat polished base. The vase has a blue core rising to purple all encased in clear glass. I have tried to capture the colours but my attempts dont do the item any justice. In real life the item displays really well and the colours the most perfect ombre. A fantastic example of submerged Murano glass the vase reflects the light and affects the colour depending on the angle of the light. The vase is in fabulous condition with minimal signs of usage.
