Description
Both attractive and useful, this galvanised French grape hod will make a great decorative statement piece. It has a variety of possible uses, perhaps as a garden planter for herbs, a log container, or a storage bin for outdoor shoes and wellington boots.
– Blue silver grey colour.
– Originally used to harvest grapes in France.
– Large enough, at 74 cm in height, to be used as a functional storage bin.
– Gilt Chateauneuf-du-Pape name and cross keys motif.
– Ring at the top at the back which will allow it to be hung.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There is some minor internal surface rust, but there are no weaknesses or holes in the metal. The back originally had a wooden board attached for straps to be attached, but this has rotted away and there are wood remnants at the top and bottom.
