A very substantial double-opening antique Gothic arch desktop sliding Book Stand, the uprights having very good quality brass decoration with cast leaves – Opens both ends – I have never seen another this large size before so a little unusual and unusual that both ends open

Circa 19th century

Good Antique Condition with a few scuffs as expected commensurate with age, the two marks inside (like thumb pushes, image8, looks amateur and probably done by an ex-owner but should be easy to correct, we are leaving the felt pads on but can be removed by just pulling off. Also one of the stops is missing but again simple little job.
