A fine 19th century double ended hobnail cut glass Scent / Perfume Bottle, having one end that screws off/on and the other end hinged. Both ends solid silver (untested) and what I think is 9ct gold (untested) applied ‘button-like’ discs one with initials the other with a crest. Makers marks GB
Circa 19th century
Good overall antique condition – I cannot open the hinged end (there is screw-like heads around the neck so maybe needs adjusting here otherwise the hinge pin can be removed and then corrected as needed?) – I have not been able to clean this end because of this but it may be cloudy although the other end did clean up. Tiny flakes, seen with a lens on the glass and slight dinks on the silver commensurate with age and as expected. Sold as seen and described. Probably a trade/collector lot. Sold requiring attention.
5.5 inches (14cm) X 1.25 inches (3.5cm) dia approx
