Reichel Artisan Wool Wall Hanging

A fabulous three dimensional West German wall hanging by Reichel, who are known for their wool rugs and decorative pieces from the 1960s and 1970s, this has a wonderful autumn colour palette.

– Three dimensional piece, with a long pile, tassels at the bottom and intrinsic tufts to the main body.
– Typical 1970s colour palette of oranges, rust, browns, red and green.
– Original German labelling on the back, showing the Reichel name, the statement of a quality product and the fact that it is 100% pure new wool.
– Wooden slat attached across the top at the back, with metal rings at either end to enable hanging.

This will look great in a mid century interior and has the gorgeous colour palette of that era.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. The extreme ends of the bottom tassels will benefit from a mild clean, but the piece is otherwise good to hang.
