A lovely Swedish rölakan style flat weave rug, this is reversible and has a colour palette of pinks and greens with geometric patterned borders and a plain centre.
– Signed “ER” in one corner.
– Plaited fringe at both ends.
– Double sided and reversible.
– Light coloured warp shows through the weft in a number of places, giving it a slightly speckled, slubbed appearance.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. The rug has not been cleaned and the fringes are slightly dirty, but there are no obtrusive stains.
