Description
A great decorator’s piece, this very large art school painting from the 1970s suggests a stained glass window with knights from the Age of Chivalry fighting for the maiden in the foreground.
– Nearly 2 metres in height.
– Acrylic on board, with a range of bright colours.
– One knight on a horse predominantly red and white, with the other in shades of purple.
– Blonde maiden in the foreground, weeping with her head in her hands.
– Text across the bottom.
– Grey painted wooden frame with a cornice and a bottom sill, suggestive of a window frame.
– A heavy piece, with hefty metal eyelets attached to the top for hanging.
Great for a large space, perhaps a loft or warehouse area with a good size wall for a display piece.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
