A fine antique Grand Tour portrait of The Madonna and Child after Murillo mounted in its original frame, with signature on the front and having the original trade labels on reverse.
Original in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence, by J.C. Alexandre, inscribed in gold ‘P: Murillo Esp/J: C: Alexandre/Florence/1834
There is also a previous owner note on the back.
