A very desirable set of four dark teak dining chairs attributed to Danish furniture designer/maker Henning Kjaernulf. Dating from the 1970’s these stylish chairs have strong clean lines and a minimalistic aesthetic with simple, well considered details such as the semi circular shape between the back and the seat. The pale beige/off white upholstery looks very pleasing with the darker tone of the wood and is neutral enough to fit with most colour schemes. Whilst the upholstery is not original it is fairly old but in good condition overall (I would guess late 1990’s as the chairs came with fire labels). We have thoroughly cleaned the fabric and it now looks very presentable and ready to use.
Why Buy Me? Extremely comfortable and undeniably stylish with a sleek sculpted shape and richly toned teak frame.
Condition report:
In good condition, the frames are stable and sturdy with strong joints, there may be the odd scratch or bruise commensurate with age and love but nothing too disturbing. The upholstery has been thoroughly cleaned and has smartened up pretty well. There is a blue biro dot on one of the seats that we could not get out but this literally is a dot so is not particularly noticeable or upsetting.
