A Late 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Club Armchair.
Circa 1880. Made by Maple & Co, In Howard & Sons style.
Mahogany Frame.
Scroll Armed Antique, on ring-turned mahogany legs and scrolled armed detail.
This wonderful Antique chair has a fully sprung seat and sprung back with graded springs creating a very comfortable seat.
Ready to be upholstered in a fabric of your choice.

Depth – 91 cm width top – top angled back
Width of chair – 69 cm
Height to arms – 56 cm
Height to seat – 44 cm
Width of the back of the seat – 43 cm
Width of front of seat – 69 cm

Makers Mark – Maple & Co stamped on the hessian inner back cover. A very good early 19th Century Sprung back and base armchair. Originally covered in a heavy kilim rug covered with wonderful plush navy velvet and tassel trim around the base.

I can only imagine it looked stunning!
