This is the largest and loveliest antique jet brooch I have seen in a long time. Beautiful mid-Victorian genuine Whitby jet, very finely carved with florals and highly polished. Brass safety pin glued on verso. Dating from around 1860/70. This is a really large and dramatic statement piece – if you love Victorian jet you cannot get better than this gorgeous brooch – it will get you plenty of compliments! Very large at 6 cm or 2.5 in diameter. All my jewellery is presented in white tissue paper and a brand new white gift box. Condition: Wonderful condition with no problems. Care: Keep in its box to protect from knocks when not wearing. Postage: I always pack everything extremely well to ensure safety in transit. Postage to the UK is free and includes proof of posting and a tracking number. I always send a photograph of the postage label to the customer on despatch.
