A stylish mid century G Plan piece, known as the ‘Helicopter’ dining table as a reference to the unusual design of the leg base.

 

– G Plan design from the 1960s.
– Attractive varnished teak top with softly rounded corners and a lovely grain.
– Ebonised black beech leg arrangement with brass caps on the joints at the end of the stretcher.
– Comfortably seat four, but will manage six.

 

This is a great piece for the mid century modern interior, but will suit most contemporary homes. An ideal size for a family dining table and the striking design will prove to be a talking point.

 

This has the wear and marks expected from a vintage piece which has been in regular use over some decades. There are no obtrusive scratches or dents, but there are general scuffs and wear to the legs and the edges of the top. The joints are firm and the legs are stable.
