A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in a three drawer oak chest by Lebus furniture. The cabinet consists of three hand crafted drawers with each drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, to each of the drawer fronts there are the original brass pull handles and with each one super ornate. The cabinet has beautiful detailing running around the top surface edge, a back riser running along the top, a scalloped edge running along the bottom that runs in to the front feet with pinstripe detailing within each one. The chest is a wonderful piece of vintage and antique furniture with great proportions, a beautiful oak colour and a superb look and design that would suit any home or environment.

Condition The chest is in superb condition made of wood with an oak veneer. The chest has been hand sanded to the original wood then waxed and French polished.

My names Mark and after some twenty plus years working within retail management I wanted to work a job that gave me a sense of achievement and accomplishment. Ive always had an interest and passion for furniture and wanted to gain more knowledge this teamed with my creative eccentric side led me to create Tallboy Furniture. I love all forms of furniture from vintage to retro to mid century modern, and find nothing better than spending my days restoring pieces of furniture that people have forgotten about and giving them the tender loving care to bring them back to there former glory. I love the story that a cabinet can tell and wonder if they could only talk the stories and adventures some pieces must of been on. The pieces I have listed all have time and care and love put into them and all of my listings are perfect and never leave my workshop unless otherwise. I pride myself on my quality of work and find nothing more satisfying than placing one of my pieces in a new home where its treasured and adored to take pride and place and to be used for it’s intended purpose.
My furniture has been chosen to appear in the World of Interior magazine and has also been featured on the series of 60 Minute Makeover, with the designer Linda Barker hand choosing a stunning vintage chest of drawers to appear in the show and be the centre piece of her design. It’s an amazing achievement to now be recognised as an official supplier to 60 Minute Makeover.
