A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in two drawer oak chest of drawers with a storage cupboard. The cabinet consists of two hand crafted drawers with each drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, on each drawer there are the original wooden turned handles and with each one ebonised in black. Below the drawers there are two beautiful cupboard doors with a large storage area inside and with the same ebonised handles as the drawers. The cabinet has an oak back riser running along the top with the edge in black that runs in to the edging of the top surface of the tallboy while to the base the cabinet sit’s on four super stylized ebonised oak legs. The chest is a fabulous piece of vintage and antique furniture that looks amazing with a wonderful design and styling and great proportions that would suit any home or environment
Dimensions W 36 inches D 19 Inches H 39 inches to the top surface H 43 inches to the top of the riser.
Condition The chest is made of solid wood with an oak veneer, the chest has been hand sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed and is in superb condition.

My names Mark and after some twenty plus years working within retail management I wanted to work a job that gave me a sense of achievement and accomplishment. Ive always had an interest and passion for furniture and wanted to gain more knowledge this teamed with my creative eccentric side led me to create Tallboy Furniture. I love all forms of furniture from vintage to retro to mid century modern, and find nothing better than spending my days restoring pieces of furniture that people have forgotten about and giving them the tender loving care to bring them back to there former glory. I love the story that a cabinet can tell and wonder if they could only talk the stories and adventures some pieces must of been on. The pieces I have listed all have time and care and love put into them and all of my listings are perfect and never leave my workshop unless otherwise. I pride myself on my quality of work and find nothing more satisfying than placing one of my pieces in a new home where its treasured and adored to take pride and place and to be used for it’s intended purpose.
My furniture has been chosen to appear in the World of Interior magazine and has also been featured on the series of 60 Minute Makeover, with the designer Linda Barker hand choosing a stunning vintage chest of drawers to appear in the show and be the centre piece of her design. It’s an amazing achievement to now be recognised as an official supplier to 60 Minute Makeover.
