18th Century Oak Dresser with Plate Rack

A splendid piece of 18th century furniture with a lovely colour, this oak dresser has a separable rack with three shelves, the top one having greater height for larger plates and a perforated front edge to hang spoons.

An 18th century piece in generally original condition with the wear expected from 250 years of age and use. The shelf in the cupboard is a later replacement. There are signs of old woodworm in the drawers bases. Sturdy and fit for purpose.
