Beautiful, mid-century, bamboo and rattan magazine rack / storage basket, circa 1950’s – 1960’s.

Great proportions, one central handle joins four feet and is light, making it super easy to move from place to place

The magazine rack is in overall great, original condition, with light traces of use and age, commensurate with time (see photos.)
The design has all of the attributes of of pieces made of bamboo and rattan from this period.

At the front and back are ”loops” that resemble the feathers or ”plumes” of a peacock. On each side, bentwood, rattan, arched forms.

Piece is solid, sturdy and functional.
