A highly unusual piece from the city of Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia. The dish is in the form of a butterfly with a detailed cast striped body and two mother of pearl wings. The body has a substantial handle and two spring antennae. The silver mark can be found to the base. This is an interesting novelty piece of silver.
