Early 18th Century Marquetry Table Cabinet

This wonderful table cabinet dates to the beginning of the 18th century. It has a beautiful marquetry design on the doors, decorated internal drawers and a key is available to lock it.

– Fabulous marquetry design on the doors with townscapes including architectural elements, columns, arches and plants with some green leaves.
– 8 internal drawers, each with a decorative design on the front.
– Central storage recess, with an iron hook at the base.
– Lovely decorative internal iron hinge brackets.
– Doors decorated internally with intricate borders.
– Back lined with blue paper.

This is a lovely piece of art, a practical storage piece and a true antique which will hold its value over time.

In good condition showing wear consistent with a piece which has been in use for over 300 years. There is some wear to the wood around the keyhole. A key is available and the lock functions.
