Beautiful antique Victorian 19th century writing slope, chest box with key, walnut stunning box.

 

Wonderful Victorian writing slope in elegant walnut with a brass edging, key escutcheon, engraved panel and corner details in exquisite condition with very minimal marks.

 

Interior have the same exceptional quality with the royal blue writing pad in superb condition, with all the inserts included and also the secret panel and the 3 hidden drawers, you have to remove a panel and pull up the side to unlock, on the inside it the letter rack to hold your envelopes also in great condition.

 

You can lock the writing slope at the top and just one on the two locks in missing and the ink wells, very minor with at the original parts still in the set.

 

A magnificent piece for a writing collector in antique condition with minimal signs of authentic patina.

 

Also come with the key.
