This set of Agorà chairs was designed by Paolo Favaretto for the Italian manufacturer Emmegi during the 1970s. The frame is made of anodized aluminum. The seat and backrest are made of bent beech plywood. Furniture made of this material combines the simplicity of form with the natural character of wood. The bends and roundings of the wood make them similar to the forms created by nature. The wide seat and contoured backrest ensure the comfort of the chair. The feet of the legs are adjustable. Agorà is the first chair that Paolo designed for Emmegi.
Paolo Favaretto was born in Italy in 1950. He is an Italian designer and architect. After graduating in architecture in Venice, he founded the design firm now known as Favaretto & Partners. He is an active designer and industry consultant. He worked with many international companies, winning many awards and distinctions. His works are published in the most important specialist journals.
Emmegi is an Italian brand founded in 1962. They specialize in designing armchairs and seats for office and public spaces, as well as interior furnishing accessories. The company focuses on continuous technological development and innovation. Over the years, the company has received many prestigious awards around the world, including: The 2008 Good Design Award in the Furniture section, awarded by the Chicago Atheneum of Architecture and Design, and the 2008 Grandesign Award from the Plana Cultural Association in Milan.
The chairs are in original vintage condition with traces of time and wear. They have minor scratches and scuffs. The seat of one of them has fading on the plywood. They have a patented industrial design with the BREV.DEP stamp. The seat is at a height of 42 cm.

Shipping Policy
Pick-up by hand (free of charge): This delivery method is offered by default on all the products on our site. It allows the buyer to pick up his item free of charge and directly from you. Once the item has been collected by the customer, no return will be possible.
Small furniture: For small and medium parcels (containing products weighing up to 30 kg and whose sum LxlxP is less than 2m), we suggest that you use the services of UPS for example. A price list to guide you can be found in the "delivery" step when adding an item.
If you receive the product in return because the customer would not have it back, you are strongly encouraged to report it to us in return so that the buyer can be refunded.
Large furniture: Delivery in UK "by Hunt Vintage" (excluding NI) varies according to the price of the product (the delivery rate is automatically indicated). Large furniture: You can easily use your own carrier or external carriers. You are then in charge of organising and following up with the customer who will have paid the fees.

Refund Policy
In case of breakage: except Hunt Vintage delivery, you are responsible for this breakage. The customer's refund is total (article + shipping costs). You are responsible for the shipping costs of the return trip. In the event of a Hunt Vintage commercial offer that would have covered part or all of your outward delivery costs, you will be charged the original price (i.e. without discount) for the return delivery. If the item is damaged or broken during a delivery by Hunt Vintage, our carrier is liable.
In case of non-compliance: our team judges this non-compliance on photos, videos etc.... If we consider that there is indeed a defect of conformity, the customer is refunded the totality (article + shipping costs). Shipping costs are not refunded. You are responsible for the shipping costs of the return trip. In the event of a Hunt Vintage commercial offer that would have covered part or all of your outward delivery costs, you will be charged the original price (i.e. without discount) for the return delivery.
In case of non satisfaction: if there is no non conformity or breakage, the customer can retract and return the item to you. The return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
A customer may freely and without reason withdraw from the contract up to 14 days after receipt of the item. In this case, they must return the item to you within 14 days of request for retraction. We refund the amount of the item but they must pay the round trip expenses.
If you have already received payment for your sale, you are required to make a return transfer on the day of receipt of the item so that we can refund the customer.
A customer cannot retract following a hand-delivery ("pick up at seller’s place" delivery option).
